Why I Built This
Welcome to EZCalc — a place where real-life problems meet simple, no-nonsense solutions.
I’m Max, the creator behind this site. I’m a developer by trade, with a strong interest in business and product development. Over the years, I’ve found that many everyday decisions — from budgeting to figuring out whether you’re being too dramatic — can be made easier with just the right tool. That’s what inspired me to build EZCalc.
This site exists to strip away the jargon and complexity from everyday decisions. I wanted to make something useful for people who might not have a technical background but still want clear, fast answers. Whether it's calculating your pay raise, splitting the bill, or figuring out how much GST is included in a price, the goal is always the same: make it easy, make it fast, and make it accurate.
The calculators on this site aren’t just random tools — they’re built based on real demand. I monitor trends, check in with what people are searching for, and listen to user suggestions to decide what to build next. It’s all designed to be useful and easy to use, whether you’re on your phone, laptop, or tablet.
I’m based in New Zealand, a country known for its wild beauty and no-fuss attitude. That vibe carries into the way I approach this project: practical, grounded, and designed to get you to the answer without wasting your time.
EZCalc isn’t here to offer a vague “might help” suggestion. Each calculator is made to give you real answers to real questions — not just another vague crutch that leaves you second-guessing. Everything here is designed to help you make a decision and move on with your day.
If you have an idea for a calculator you'd love to see, I’m always keen to hear from you. Head over to the contact page and drop me a message — I might just build it next.
I believe that simplicity wins. That tools should get out of the way and give you the answer. And that small decisions deserve smart solutions.
This site exists to help you move forward — whether it’s making a smarter business choice or just confirming what your gut already knows.
Thanks for being here.
Let’s make better decisions — one calculator at a time.
